![]() ![]() In single action its smooth as silk, can't wait to fire it next week when I get back from a short trip. I'd have to say it has maybe a 2 lb trigger at the most. I have to say, it currently has a hair trigger in dual action mode, the only other revolver i had possestion of was a pos Taurus, that i had to get rid of it was so unsafe. Out of precaution and since parts are scarce I snagged a new trigger from Numrich for $18 only difference is its a serrated trigger not smooth. About the only worn part I could find is the sear edge on the trigger, it had a burr on it that was very sharp so i dressed it a but and reassembled the revolver. Carefully dissasembeled it and fixed a few bare spots from holster wear just temporarly, going to strip and reblue it totally after I am assured it fires safely. Tore into it tonight and it had never been apart in its life, it still had Rugers nasty tarry grease packed in it. Serial number places it in the 1980-81 era. Its too bad it wasn't a hard to find 38 special but for a secondary carry and a revolver I have always I had a soft spot for 357s. ![]() It has seen better days, but it should clean up just fine this winter when I reblue it, and make any repairs. At the range today something caught my eye, low and behold I found another little pistol on my bucket list. ![]()
